A Waterborne, Low Friction Metal Coating
Xylan® 1424 is an environmentally-friendly, waterborne VOC compliant coating that reduces make-up and break-out torque by up to 70%. Similar to Xylan® 1014, this waterborne, low friction coefficient lubricant has high resistance to abrasion and corrosion, and is ideal for caustic environments. Operating temperatures for continuous service ranges from -40 Degree F (-40 Degree C) to +360 Degree F (+180 Degree C) and can survive up to +450 Degree F (+232 Degree C) intermittently.
